And you thought I’d enjoy the sound of a de-resonated non muffler having small v6. Oh, Oppo.
Does anyone else get an unsettling feeling when their car is up on a lift? Gotta say I dont like it.
The whole bad section was cut out and a super convenient piece of pre bent stainless was available in the scraps bin. So glad to not have that angry Bee's buzz anytime I go above 3k rpm.

I need to get my car up on a lift. I have so much to do that I need it up in the air for

Does make for a pretty huge convenience. It was a PITA getting the band clamp on the exhaust having it on ramps. On a lift? Chop and weld it up with ease.
Good new is rentalift places are becoming more popular

I just don’t trust a jack on my gravel driveway, and ramps are no good if you need to remove a wheel

I don’t think I’ve ever had my car on a lift that high, only just high enough to swap tires with.

Before I got the exhaust leak fixed on my GTI, I thought it sounded like an old Bug. I thought it was cool, but I had a noticable loss of power.

Im not sure if it was because I was enjoying the sound more or an actual return it power but the but Dyno said there were a few more horses. Although could be placebo effect.

Learned that the hard way when I tried to jack it up forgetting I had a 50s driveway grass strip. The jack just sunk right into the dirt.

I am almost certain that I have seen your car in the wild. Near Fredericksburg?
